I made it to Oslo! Here are some pictures of where I live, Blindern Dorm. It was built in the 1920s. Isn't it cute?

The path to the North

Some fun facts about Norway:

- Norwegians invented the cheese grater and paper clip

- Norway is in northern Europe next to Sweden

- Norway's population is about 4.6 million

- The Laerdal tunnel, which was opened in 2000, is the longest road tunnel in the world. It is 15.3 miles, or 24.5 kilometers long.
- Oslo is Norway's capital and largest city

- The 1994 Olympic Winter games were held in Lillehammer, Norway

- Norwegians call their country "Norge" not Norway as the rest of the world does

Well, I am off. My next post will come from Oslo.

Nine

Nine more days. I am now in the single digits until I get on a plane to Norway.

This last week I received my scholarship from the Sons of Norway foundation. I am extremely excited that the scholarship was able to help me participate in this International Summer School in Oslo this summer. Thank you so much Sons of Norway foundation for helping me make my dream happen.
